On the other side, you see many PR, promotional and marketing companies promising millions of streams and/or great exposure if you pay for their expensive services.
But even when they deliver on their promise, without a cohesive strategy covering all areas of your artistic career, those numbers won't translate into fans, which are the key to a successful career in the long term.
THE ROLE OF AN ARTIST MANAGER
The role of a music manager is multifaceted and crucial to an artist's career, acting as a central hub, overseeing all areas of the business and serving as a mentor, advocate, and partner in their journey to success.
That's why most artists look for managers as soon as possible in their careers.
However, since traditional managers work on a commission basis (typically around 20% of the artist's income), they generally choose to work with artists already making money from their music, or with those with a strong fanbase, fan support and a solid potential income or industry buzz they can capitalise on to quickstart their career.
This doesn't mean traditional managers don't work with emerging acts too - in fact, nowadays, an increasing number of managers are developing talent compared to labels.
But since they only earn a percentage of the artist's income, they'll always be limited to the number of developing artists they can sign to their roster. Plus, the bigger acts on their roster will stay the priority as long as they keep being the bread and butter of their businesses.

1-2-1 HELP AND ADVICE WHENEVER YOU NEED IT
This isn't a course or access to blanket resources that you then need to learn how to apply to your project. This is 1-2-1 support and advice that's tailored to you, just like we do with our management roster. All our packages include weekly or biweekly 1-2-1 calls, and we offer email and WhatsApp support between them so you can get what you need whenever you need it.
FLEXIBLE MEANS FLEXIBLE: NO FIXED CONTRACTS
Traditional management contracts last between 1-5 years, and artists are liable to cover costs incurred by their manager when working for them.
